Carnivale Pazzo

Hello-I am Rick St.dennis artist/designer and new member of the support team for Collage Obcession-what fun...This is my first challenge for you so I wanted to share something (someone) I have had more fun with over the years....well anyway...

I usually call him Luigi (or Mario) and I have done horrible things to hime-he has had his head ripped off, his innards replaced by bloody skulls or tea party goodies-he has had two heads (at least twice) an still he smiles through it all.

I liberated him from the web at some point in the past so I don't know much about the origins of the photo-looks like early 1900's.

I believe if you click the picture you will get a larger version to use-if not email me for a 300 dpi scan (rickstdennis@yahoo.com).

So my challange is Carnivale Pazzo-use Luigi to make a composition that puts him in the spotlight at some strange, steam punk, grunge. edgy Carnival on the edge of the abyss or maybe its a more friendly upscale carnival performing for the Queen of Hearts in Wonder(under)land-as long as it's PAZZO-thats CRAZY in Italian.

You may do whatever you like but Luigi must appear somewhere in the composition and the theme is Crazy Carnival-Carnivale Pazzo-the place where nightmares meet dreams in the center ring.

Have fun-can't wait to see what you do with/to poor Luigi-no matter what he will just keep on being his friendly smiling self.

I will do a blog post about Luigi/Mario and show you many of the incarnations he has endured in my hands.

Sola...perduta...abbandonata...in landa desolata..orror!

Luigi is posted on my blog. He seems to be surrounded by unusual creatures! Unplussed, he calls for his umbrella so as not to get wet!

Thanks for the great challenge. You said you have done many terrible things to poor Mario/Luigi. I wonder if you had ever considered him as a cross-dresser? Now he is Mario/Marie.

My picture is on my blog.

Welcome Rick! And thank you for the very dapper picture you provided us to work with!

I have changed his name to Bruno and made him a part of a Carnival that I posted about in October! He fit in perfectly (however, I had to scold him for being so late!)

Looking forward to future challenges from you!
