I love listening to music everyday. Really. Everyday! Music has the power to lift us up, energize us or make us cry. This week’s challenge is to create something that is inspired by music. Two images are provided below, but you do not have to use them. They can be a starting point if you like. Just have fun!
Musical Cherub by Rosso Fiorentino (1521):
By The Light of the Silvery Moon cover (song published 1909):
Here are the guidelines for the challenge:
- You can use one or more of the images. It’s okay to use a portion of the image, or the entire image.
- It is okay not to use the images, instead, please express the theme of music in some way… (Perhaps reflect on your favorite tune and how it makes you feel, etc..)
- Your creation can be silly, serious or anything inbetween!
- The word “music” does not have to show up in your creation.
Please post your artwork on your blog or website, and leave a link to it in our “comments” section. (Instructions on how to leave a link to your work are in the right hand column under “How to Participate.” Just click on the words: “How to add a link in comment”)
On your mark, get set, … GO! Let’s have a good time. Thank you for playing in advance!
