Collage Obsessions - Sport

Hello Everyone, Happy Valentines for the 14th for those you love this bit of nonsense.  This week I have chosen to challenge you to create an image inspired by sport - this could be the equipment, the players, the spectators, or the venue.  This will give you the opportunity to capture the grace and energy that we so often see in sport photographs.

WHAT TO SUBMIT
All types of art are welcome: digital art, cards of all types, journal pages, scrapbook pages etc...just have fun. You may use the images above as they are in the public domain courtesy of Wikipedia http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tennis#Players

HERE'S HOW TO SHOW US YOUR WORK
Please post your art on your blog or other site, and leave a link to your work in our "comments" section.  OR YOU MAY LIKE TO TRY OUR LINK FEATURE.

As it is Summer here in Australia and tennis and cricket are the most popular sports, I have chosen to take tennis as my inspiration.

My credits can be seen on my blog site http://digital-collage.org/  Have fun.

I chose skating as my sport, since it's icy cold in my world today! It's HERE

I couldn't seem to get the magic link to work.

There are all kinds of sports. Finding a good catch is one of the most challenging, according to my mama.

Kaylene...I got to you in a roundabout way. I was in a Valentine’s swap and got one from JanDeBellis. I immediately spotted her collages so plugged away until I found a link to you. I am totally in love with what you all are doing. I think I am going to have to put down my camera for a bit and try playing with collages. It has been at least 20 years since I was doing them compulsively so I will be starting from scratch. Hope you have a nice week. genie
