FOOTPRINTS

In the summer (our current season here in the U.S.), I'm always fascinated by footprints in the sand. Walking on the beach with my husband, I wonder about all the prints I see stretching before me. Who made them? Where were they going? What is their story? I may see a solitary set of footprints; a family's footprints clustered together; the footprints of a couple walking closely together;  or the footprints of a four-legged creature.

What comes into your mind when you see footprints? What meanings might they contain; what patterns do they form? This week I challenge you to use the concept and/or image of footprints in your collage. Here are some images to inspire you. You may use any of them in your collage. The first two are from Wikimedia Commons; the third is my photo of Roman ruins in Cesarea, Israel; and the last one is my own design in PSE 10.

Please link to your blog posting using our link feature below, or in the comments section below. I can't wait to see where your footprints take you...

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. When I go to the beach I am always drawn to the itty bitty footprints of the little ones.....they are hard to capture in a photograph because their size is deceiving in a photo without something beside it for comparison....there is always much to say about footprints in the sand.
