I´m going to continue with color challenges. This time I picked orange.  Use color orange somehow in your collage.

Fish are jumping...

It's summertime (in the Northern hemisphere) and the fish are jumping... I've been living in my summer cottage for three weeks now, and I've been catching and eating a lot of fish. So this week I challenge you to make art with some fish in it. For your inspiration, I've added here some fish images. The first one is from an old Finnish encyclopedia (you can learn some Finnish here!), the next one is a sheet of printed images for crafting, and the last one is googled.
Your piece of art can be of any kind: digital or hand-made, collage, drawing, painting, sculpting, crafting - anything goes as long as there is some fish or fishing in it. You can use the images provided here, or any other fish image you like. When your art piece is ready, post it on your blog or other web site, and then use the link feature below to link it to the this Collage Obsession site.

DANCER(S)

This week the challenge is to use Dancer(s) as our theme. Of course dancer(s) can be ballet dancers or dancers from any of the dance forms, and do not forget vintage and cultural dancers.

This is a painting of young children enjoying a ring dance by courtesy of Wikipedia. I have also made some digital brushes that you can use...just click on the word brushes they are .abr files.

These two files are in .PNG format if you wish to use.

I am eager to see what you design and it can be in any format..journal pages, ATCs, drawings etc and digital art. You can post your images using either the Discussion Panel or Link format below.

This week's theme is "Mermaids"-- those fabulous fantasy creatures that inhabit the sea. Below are three mermaid images to inspire you in creating your collage.
